BSS: Lamborghini proteges to make debut
Lamborghini will give two drivers from its young driver program their international sportscar debuts at the Misano Blancpain Sprint Series round at Misano next month.
The Austrian Grasser squad, the Italian manufacturer's factory team in the sister Blancpain Endurance Series, has entered two Huracan GT3s for the Italian event on Oct. 3-4. They will be driven by Lamborghini Super Trofeo graduates Patrick Kujala and Alberto Di Folco, each sharing with a Lamborghini factory driver.
Former GP3 racer Kujala, who won the pro class of this year's European Super Trofeo, will share with Mirko Bortolotti. Sometime Formula Renault driver Di Folco, winner of the pro-am title in Europe, will compete with Jeroen Mul.
Lamborghini's young driver programme also includes GP3 race winner Patric Niederhauser, who has also competed in GP2 and LMP2, and former British GT racer Jake Rattenbury.
