PWC: TC driver Tony Rivera treated and released after crash
Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car driver Tony Rivera, who crashed hard during the season finale race Sunday morning at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca which ended under caution due to the crash, was transported to the infield car center, and was transferred to a local hospital for precautionary checks. He has now been released.
The series confirmed that Rivera, who drives the No. 86 Tiburon Motorsports Scion FRS Coupe, briefly lost consciousness following the crash but was able to get out of the car on his own.
