Pirelli World Challenge to donate $5,000 to Wilson Children’s Fund
Earlier this season, WC Vision announced the fines handed down for penalties assessed at the Long Beach round of Pirelli World Challenge were donated to four charities/foundations.
Today, WC Vision will donate $5,000 to the children of Justin Wilson – Wilson Children’s Fund – as well as any fines from the GT, GTA, GT Cup and GTS division races this weekend for the Pirelli World Challenge rounds at Sonoma Raceway.
“Justin’s loss has left a huge void in all of the motorsports industry,” said Scott Bove, president and CEO of WC Vision, parent company of the Pirelli World Challenge series. “He was a professional on and off the track and one of racing’s greatest ambassadors. We, at the Pirelli World Challenge, hope to assist the Wilson family with this donation and continue thinking of Justin’s legacy in the future.”
For more information on the Wilson Children’s Fund as well sending donations, please send to Wilson Children’s Fund, c/o Forum Credit Union, P.O. Box 50738, Indianapolis, IN 46250-0738 or contact (317) 558-6000.

After the Long Beach round in April, Pirelli World Challenge distributed in excess of $40,000 in race fines to the Road Racing Drivers Club Safe is Fast campaign, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, the SCCA Foundation and Project Peanut Butter.
