Teens injured in go-kart crash at Lime Rock after break-in

Waterbury, Conn-based

The Republican-American

reports that two teens were rushed to the hospital, one via helicopter, following a serious go-kart crash at Lime Rock Park on Wednesday night.
Lime Rock Park spokesman Rick Roso told the paper that five teens broke into the facility and managed to start up karts owned by Endurance Karting, which utilizes a small track on the property. They then drove the karts onto the main track, where the crash occurred.

The Hartford Courant,

a 15-year-old girl was taken by LifeStar helicopter to Connecticut Children's Medical Center for treatment of head and torso injuries; a 15-year-old boy was also hospitalized with head and arm injuries. The injuries were reported to be non-life-threatening.
