Pruett Fastest In Warm-Up In Pole-Winning Ford EcoBoost

Scott Pruett waited until the end of Sunday morning’s 20-minute warm-up to post the fastest lap at Road America in preparation for today’s Continental Tire Road Race Showcase. He ran 1:57.282 in the incident-free session in the No. 01 Ford EcoBoost/Riley that co-driver Joey Hand drove to the TOTAL Pole Award on Saturday.

Coming back from engine issues during GT Le Mans (GTLM) qualifying, Nick Tandy led the class with a lap of 2:04.036 in the No. 911 Porsche North America Porsche 911 RSR co-driven by Patrick Pilet. Teammate Joerg Bergmeister was second in the team’s No. 912 Porsche 911 RSR, that will start from the pole at the hands of Earl Bamber.Bruno Junqueira paced Prototype Challenge (PC) with a lap of 1:59.775 in the No. 11 RSR Racing AutoMaxUSA ORECA FLM09 co-driven by Chris Cumming. Jeroen Bleekemolen was fastest in GT Daytona (GTD), running 2:09.363 in the No. 33 ViperExpress.com Dodge Viper SRT GT3-R that he shares with Ben Keating.The Continental Tire Road Race Showcase will be televised live on FOX Sports 1 beginning at 3 p.m. ET.
