IMSA: Eversley adds HART drive in CTSCC

Honda factory driver Ryan Eversley will add to his Acura TLX-GT driving duties in the Pirelli World Challenge series with a handful of outings with the Honda of America Racing Team in IMSA's Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge series.

Eversley is no stranger to the CTSCC, having earned his Acura factory ride after years of success in the Street Tuner class where he'll return to race a Honda Civic alongside co-driver Chad Gilsinger for HART.

"Not only am I excited to join HART and race with Chad, I'm also excited to get back into the Continental Tire series!" Eversley told RACER. "I've raced against the HART guys for a long time so it's nice to be able to team up with them instead of trying to beat them. It's been a busy year for me with the Acura TLX program but I'm thrilled to represent Honda in two series and hopefully we can continue HART's strong season."

Eversley will finish the season for HART, barring the CTSCC round at Virginia International Raceway, due to a preexisting conflict with the Acura PWC program.

"We would like to welcome Ryan to the Honda of America Racing Team," said HART team manager Kurt Baker. "We know that Ryan's driving talent and previous experience in the series will allow him to immediately be competing for wins, and teaming Ryan with Chad in the No. 93 HART Civic will give us one of strongest driving teams in the series."
