Author's trip at snail's pace compared to IMS laps

New York Times bestselling author John Green is on the road to promote his new movie, “Paper Towns,” based on his 2009 young adult novel.

The INDYCAR fan, who participates in a private Verizon IndyCar Series fantasy league, has returned to the U.S. from the European leg of the tour and embarks on a whirlwind segment this month (Indianapolis on July 14, Columbus, Ohio, on July 15 and Dallas on July 16). In October at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, he took a road trip of a different kind at about 180 miles an hour.
