Fall-Line Finishes Second, Eighth At The Glen With Longe

Watkins Glen, NY (June 29, 2015) - Andrew Longe competed in a pair of 45-minute races this weekend at Watkins Glen International in the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohoma and tied his career-best result of P2 in the second of two races and 8th in the first.

Round 5: Andrew started the race in P10 but moved up to finish in eighth position.

Round 6: Andrew started P9 in a wet and wild race that was shortened to 30 minutes due to heavy rain. He finished second, tying his best finish of the season thus far.  He passed for second with 17 minutes remaining in the race and came within less than a second of the leader. Unfortunately Andrew wasn't able to race for the victory when a final caution came out and the race ended under yellow.

There was a makeup race originally scheduled for late Saturday (from the rained-out Round 4 at NOLA Motorsports Park) but was canceled due to torrential downpour conditions. The points from this race will be made up at a later date to be determined.

Rounds 7 and 8 of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA by Yokohama will take place July 10-12 at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, Ontario.
