Fuoco to make Ferrari F1 test debut

Ferrari is to hand a Formula 1 debut to another of its rising stars in Antonio Fuoco in next week's second and final in-season test after the Austrian Grand Prix. The 19-year-old Ferrari Academy driver, who won the 2013 Formula Renault 2.0 ALPS series, is currently competing in GP3 with Carlin.

A Ferrari statement said: "This is a significant opportunity for him, as part of the programme which the Scuderia runs to help the development of young drivers."

Fuoco will take the wheel of the SF15-T on Tuesday at the Red Bull Ring, with third driver Esteban Gutierrez following suit on Wednesday.

Former Sauber driver Gutierrez made his bow with Ferrari in last month's test following the Spanish Grand Prix at Barcelona.
