F1: Lotus to run 2015 car at Brands Hatch "filming day"
Contemporary Formula 1 machinery will run at Britain's Brands Hatch circuit for the first time in seven years when Lotus completes a filming day on Monday.
Romain Grosjean and Pastor Maldonado, plus reserve driver Jolyon Palmer, will be in action behind the wheel of the E23 Hybrid at the Kent circuit. The race-winning Lotus 72 E-5 will also take to the track with the former British Grand Prix venue open to the public free of charge.
Lotus plans to carry out pit stop demonstrations, side-by-side running, practice starts and hot laps in road-going Lotuses. It is the first public opportunity to see modern F1 machinery at Brands Hatch since Lewis Hamilton drove his title-winning 2008 McLaren MP4-23 in a demonstration at that year's DTM event.
