Three liveries for Porsche at Le Mans

The three Porsche 919 Hybrids entered for the Le Mans 24 Hours in June will each run in a different livery.

The trio of color schemes include one inspired by Porsche's first outright winner of the 24 Hours in 1970, the 917KH driven by Richard Attwood and Hans Hermann.

The two full-season World Endurance Championship entries will race in the same white color scheme as last year before swapping to the new liveries for the Le Mans test day at the end of May and then the race two weeks later.

The #17 Porsche to be raced by Mark Webber, Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley will compete in the red "Salzburg Design" livery.

Neel Jani, Romain Dumas and Marc Lieb will race #18 in a black livery that commemorates the last-named's record lap for a production sports car on the Nurburgring-Nordschleife aboard a Porsche 918 hybrid supercar in 2013.

The additional car for Le Mans, #19 to be driven by Nico Hulkenburg, Nick Tandy and Earl Bamber, will race in the regular WEC livery at Le Mans.

The two full WEC entries will then switch back to their regular schemes for the final five post-Le Mans rounds.

The red and black-liveried cars that Porsche unveiled today at the official WEC pre-season test at Paul Ricard were, respectively, an early-2014 racecar and the original 2013 test car.
