FIA WORLD RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP

The French WRC event will be run in Corsica on 1 - 4 October 2015.

The Rallye du Valais will in turn replace the Tour de Corse on the 2015 FIA European Rally Championship calendar, and will take place on 31 October 2015.

Changes to the technical regulations have been adopted for 2015, which will be made available on FIA.com.

FIA WORLD ENDURANCE CHAMPIONSHIP

To limit costs, the following changes have been made for 2015: 

• New limitations will be enforced with regards to engines. LMP1 Hybrid competitors may homologate only one type of power train for the season. In this category, the number of engines will be limited to five per season and to seven for a manufacturer entering its first season in the Championship.

• The number of team personnel authorized for entrants competing in the Manufacturer’s World Endurance Championship has been limited, with the conditions available online.

• The number of testing days allowed for competitors entered in all categories has also been limited.

To improve safety, new regulations will be enforced with regards to the weight of drivers. If the average weight of drivers entered in a car is below 80 kilogrammes, ballasts will be imposed.

A single engine will be designated with the goal to universalize the 2017 LMP2 category.

The FIA Driver Categorisation Regulations have been amended. New criteria and procedures for the attribution of Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze driver status are available on FIA.com.

Further changes to the sporting and technical regulations of the FIA World Endurance Championship are available on FIA.com.

FIA WORLD RALLYCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

To limit costs, the number of team personnel allowed for in the FIA World Rallycross Championship has been limited. Up to two cars entered by a team, a maximum of five engineering personnel and two non-engineering personnel passes will be allocated per car.

If a team enters a third car, it will be allocated a maximum of 4 extra engineering personnel passes. The teams will have to record activity occurring on the working areas of the paddock using cameras and make these cameras available to the stewards at their request.

Also to limit costs and to mitigate for the inability of certain manufacturers to homologate their products, the introduction of homologated ECUs in the FIA World Rallycross Championship has been delayed to 1 January 2016 at the earliest.

SINGLE-SEATER COMMISSION

The WMSC has approved the creation of a new FIA F2 Championship, aimed at bridging the gap between F3 and F1 and completing the single seater ladder. As a consequence, a detailed project will be submitted to the WMSC in July and a call for expression of interest is planned to be launched with regard to the promotion of this championship as soon as possible.

The WMSC agreed on carrying out of an FIA feasibility study for the holding of an FIA Formula 3 Middle East Cup in 2016.

Cars entered in FIA certified F4 Championships will be equipped with a mandatory Accident Data Recorder (ADR).

TOURING CAR COMMISSION

The FIA European Touring Car Championship event scheduled for Salzburg (AUT) on 26 July 2015 is cancelled and replaced by Zolder (BEL) on 20 September 2015.

FIA FORMULA E CHAMPIONSHIP

With the addition of a Moscow ePrix and the change of date for the Berlin ePrix, the sporting calendar of the 2014-2015 season of the FIA Formula E Championship has been amended as follows:

GT COMMISSION

The WMSC agreed on the creation of an FIA GT World Cup. The event will be held on 19-22 November 2015 in Macau and will be open to cars homologated in the GT3 category.

HISTORIC MOTOR SPORT COMMISSION

Appendix K governing seatbelts has been modified so that competitors will retain the possibility to install harnesses with four mounting points (FIA standard 5584/98) when it is impossible to install harnesses with five or six mounting points (FIA standard 8853/98).

To improve safety and entertainment on track, the number of tyres allowed by car and by competition in the FIA Masters Historic Formula One Championship is increased from 4 to 8.

The use of data acquisition systems in the FIA Lurani Trophy for Formula Junior Cars has been prohibited.

OFF-ROAD COMMISSION

Changes made to the sporting and technical regulations of off-road competitions, including to engine and weight regulations for the Supercars, TouringCars and Super 1600 categories, are to be made available on FIA.com.

CLOSED ROAD COMMISSION

The Rally Safety Guidelines concerning the safety of spectators in rallies are now part of the FIA regulations for closed-road competitions under Appendix H.

MEDICAL COMMISSION

To improve the safety of the competitions of the FIA World Championships, a system of penalties with regard to compliance with the Medical Questionnaire requirements will be implemented on 1 January 2016.

APPLICATIONS FOR REGISTRATION FOR 2015 INTERNATIONAL SERIES

A list of 29 International Series, for the different disciplines presented by the ASNs, was approved by the WMSC, and will be made available on FIA.com

DRIFTING WORKING GROUP

The composition of the Drifting Working Group has been decided, with details of the group available on FIA.com.

ASN DEVELOPMENT TASK FORCE

The results of an internal ASN Development Task Force consultation on existing training programmes were presented to the WMSC. It has been decided to establish a global framework for the Global Training Programme to deliver consistent content by trainers accredited by the FIA to the motor sport community worldwide, including ASN leaders, officials and drivers at the national, regional and international levels. A report on a feasibility study on the creation of an FIA Training Center will be presented at the next WMSC in July.

FIA SPORT CONFERENCE

The next FIA Sport Conference will be held on 8-10 July 2015 in Mexico City, hosted by OMDAI and FIA Vice President for Sport, José Abed.

For the first time, the Conference will be organised outside of Europe, and among other issues under discussion, will explore the success of motor sport in the Americas.

CHAMPIONNAT DU MONDE DES RALLYES DE LA FIA

L’épreuve française du WRC sera courue en Corse du 1er au 4 octobre 2015.

Le Rallye du Valais remplacera le Tour de Corse au calendrier du Championnat d’Europe des Rallyes de la FIA 2015 et se déroulera le 31 octobre 2015.

Plusieurs modifications apportées au règlement technique ont été adoptées pour 2015, elles seront disponibles sur le site FIA.com.

CHAMPIONNAT DU MONDE D’ENDURANCE DE LA FIA

Afin de limiter les coûts, les changements suivants ont été apportés pour 2015 : 

-       De nouvelles limitations seront appliquées concernant les moteurs. Les concurrents LMP1 Hybrides ne pourront homologuer qu’un seul type de groupe motopropulseur pour la saison. Dans cette catégorie, le nombre de moteurs sera limité à cinq par saison et à sept pour un constructeur s’engageant pour la première fois dans le Championnat.

-       Les effectifs du personnel d’équipe autorisé pour les concurrents engagés dans le Championnat du Monde d’Endurance pour Constructeurs ont été limités, les conditions sont disponibles en ligne.

-       Le nombre de journées d’essais autorisées pour les concurrents engagés dans toutes les catégories a également été limité.

Afin d’améliorer la sécurité, de nouvelles réglementations entreront en vigueur concernant le poids des pilotes. Si le poids moyen des pilotes engagés sur une voiture est inférieur à 80 kilogrammes, des lests seront imposés.

Un moteur unique sera désigné dans le but d’universaliser la catégorie LMP2 2017.

Le Règlement de catégorisation FIA des pilotes a été modifié. De nouveaux critères et procédures pour l’attribution des statuts de pilote Platine, Or, Argent et Bronze sont publiés sur le site FIA.com.

D’autres amendements aux règlements sportif et technique du Championnat du Monde d’Endurance de la FIA sont disponibles sur le site FIA.com.

CHAMPIONNAT DU MONDE DE RALLYCROSS DE LA FIA

Afin de réduire les coûts, les effectifs du personnel d’équipe autorisé pour le Championnat du Monde de Rallycross de la FIA ont été limités. Pour une à deux voitures engagées par une équipe, un maximum de cinq laissez-passer "engineering personnel" et de deux laissez-passer "non-engineering personnel" seront attribués par voiture.

Si une équipe engage une troisième voiture, elle se verra allouer un maximum de quatre laissez-passer "engineering personnel" supplémentaires. Les équipes devront enregistrer l’activité sur les zones de travail du paddock au moyen de caméras et mettre ces dernières à la disposition des commissaires sportifs sur leur demande.

Toujours dans une optique de réduction des coûts et pour venir en aide à certains fabricants dans l’incapacité d’homologuer leurs produits, l’introduction d’ECU homologués dans le Championnat du Monde de Rallycross de la FIA a été reportée au 1e janvier 2016 au plus tôt.

COMMISSION MONOPLACE

Le CMSA a approuvé la création d’un nouveau Championnat F2 de la FIA permettant de combler l’écart entre la F3 et la F1 et venant compléter le parcours de progression en monoplace. Dès lors, un projet détaillé sera soumis au CMSA en juillet et un appel à manifestations d’intérêt devrait être lancé pour la promotion de ce championnat dès que possible.

Le CMSA a accepté la réalisation d’une étude de faisabilité FIA pour l’organisation d’une Coupe de F3 du Moyen-Orient de la FIA en 2016.

Les voitures engagées dans des Championnats de F4 certifiés par la FIA seront équipées d’un enregistreur de données d’accident (ADR) obligatoire.

COMMISSION DES VOITURES DE TOURISME

L’épreuve du Championnat d’Europe des Voitures de Tourisme de la FIA (ETCC) prévue à Salzbourg (AUT) le 26 juillet 2015 est annulée et remplacée par celle de Zolder (BEL) le 20 septembre 2015.

CHAMPIONNAT DE FORMULE E DE LA FIA

Avec l’ajout de l’ePrix de Moscou et le changement de date pour l’ePrix de Berlin, le calendrier sportif de la saison 2014-2015 du Championnat de Formule E de la FIA a été modifié comme suit :

COMMISSION GT

Le CMSA a approuvé la création d’une Coupe du Monde GT de la FIA. L’épreuve se déroulera du 19 au 22 novembre 2015 à Macao et sera ouverte aux voitures homologuées dans la catégorie GT3.

Une série de modifications ont été apportées aux règlements sportif et technique et seront disponibles sur le site FIA.com.

COMMISSION DU SPORT AUTOMOBILE HISTORIQUE

La section de l’Annexe K relative aux ceintures de sécurité a été modifiée de sorte que les concurrents conserveront la possibilité d’installer des harnais avec quatre points d’ancrage (norme FIA 5584/98) lorsqu’il est impossible d’installer des harnais avec cinq à six points d’ancrage (norme FIA 8853/98).

Afin d’améliorer la sécurité et le spectacle sur la piste, le nombre de pneus autorisés par voiture et par compétition dans le Championnat Historique Masters de Formule Un de la FIA a été porté de 4 à 8.

L’utilisation de systèmes d’acquisition de données dans le Trophée Lurani de la FIA pour les Voitures de Formule Junior a été interdite.

COMMISSION OFF-ROAD

Les modifications apportées aux règlements sportif et technique des compétitions off-road, y compris celles apportées à la réglementation sur les moteurs et le poids des Supercars, Touringcars et Super 1600, seront disponibles sur le site FIA.com.

COMMISSION DES EPREUVES SUR ROUTE

Les "Guidelines" pour la sécurité des Rallyes concernant la sécurité des spectateurs dans les rallyes font à présent partie du règlement de la FIA pour les compétitions sur routes fermées au titre de l’Annexe H.

COMMISSION MEDICALE

Afin d’améliorer la sécurité des compétitions de Championnat du Monde de la FIA, un système de pénalités applicables en cas de non-respect des exigences du Questionnaire médical prendra effet le 1er janvier 2016.

DEMANDES D’INSCRIPTION DES SERIES INTERNATIONALES 2015

Une liste de 29 Séries internationales, pour les différentes disciplines présentées par les ASN, a été approuvée par le CMSA et sera disponible sur le site FIA.com.

GROUPE DE TRAVAIL DRIFTING

La composition du Groupe de Travail Drifting a été définie. Les détails figurent sur le site FIA.com.

ASN DEVELOPMENT TASK FORCE

Les résultats d’une consultation interne de l’ASN Development Task Force sur les programmes de formation existants ont été présentés au CMSA. Il a été décidé d’établir un cadre global pour le "Global Training Programme" afin que des formateurs accrédités par la FIA puissent délivrer un contenu uniforme à la communauté internationale du sport automobile, et notamment aux dirigeants des ASN, officiels et pilotes aux niveaux national, régional et international. Un rapport sur une étude de faisabilité sur la création d’un Centre de formation FIA sera présenté lors du prochain CMSA en juillet.

CONFERENCE SPORT DE LA FIA

La prochaine Conférence Sport de la FIA se tiendra du 8 au 10 juillet 2015 à Mexico City, à l’invitation de l’OMDAI et du Vice-président pour le Sport de la FIA José Abed.

Pour la première fois, la Conférence sera organisée hors Europe et l’un des thèmes étudiés sera l’essor du sport automobile dans les Amériques.
