Irish Mike's Racing Look Forward to 'Home Race' at Sebring


Irish Mike’s Racing is eager to start the second race weekend of the 2015 Continental Tires Sports Car Challenge season at the Microsoft Visual Studio 150.

 The Orlando, Florida based race team has done a lot of pre-season testing at Sebring International Raceway and is hoping for a great outcome at their home track. Irish Mike’s Racing it thrilled to have Conor Flynn and Alex Bolanos back behind the wheel of the 2013 Hyundai Genesis 2.0 Turbo. Both drivers had great success at

with Alex Bolanos being the 5th fastest in the second practice session and 6th fastest in the third session. Conor Flynn ended up qualifying the 2013 Hyundai Genesis in 7th for the start of the

Irish Mike’s Racing tested with Conor Flynn last month to working on the setup of the Hyundai Genesis for the Microsoft Visual Studio 150 at Sebring. Conor said, “I am very excited to be back behind the wheel of the Irish Mike’s Racing Hyundai Genesis at Sebring. Sebring is one of my favorite tracks to drive and is my home track. I have spent many club weekends at Sebring being coach by Peter Keane.”

 Peter Keane is the team strategist for Irish Mike’s Racing as well as a spotter for the VisitFlorida.com race team in the Tudor United Sports Car Championship. Conor also said, “I would consider Peter to be an expert when it comes to racing at Sebring International Raceway. He was a key part in helping me qualify the Hyundai Genesis 7th at Daytona and I know he will be a key part in bring the car to victory lane at the Microsoft Visual Studio 150. Conor finish by saying, “the Irish Mike’s Hyundai Genesis is a strong car with a great chance of being on the podium. The Irish Mike’s Racing team has worked very hard during the off season to bring a great car to the track every weekend.”
