PWC: Record fields set for St. Petersburg and Long Beach

WC Vision today announced 65- and 40-car fields for the Pirelli World Challenge race weekends at St. Petersburg and Long Beach respectively. Both car counts represent full fields for each of the two race weekends.

"The response from our competitors to enter series races at St. Pete and Long Beach has been tremendous and this is the earliest we've confirmed a full field for Long Beach," said Greg Gill, General Manager, VP, Marketing and Communications, WC Vision/Pirelli World Challenge.

The St. Petersburg Cadillac Grand Prix as part of the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is scheduled for March 27-29 while the Pirelli World Challenge "Roar by the Shore" presented by Replay XD, part of the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, is scheduled for April 17-19.
