"Engines Exposed" exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum a treat for gearheads

The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Mich., is always worth a visit, but through March 15 the sprawling campus is offering a special treat for gearheads. More than 40 cars in the collection are open for fans to see their engines, including the famous 1967 Le Mans-winning Ford Mark IV (pictured).

It's a rare opportunity to peek under the hoods of this and many other classic  machines, including including the Museum's Bugatti Type 41 Royale Convertible, the 1948 Tucker 48 Sedan, the 1963 Chrysler Gas Turbine and the remarkable 1916 Woods Dual Power Hybrid Coupe, a car that was 80 years ahead of its time.
