O'Gara Motorsport joins Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo North American Series

O'Gara Motorsport announced that it will field multiple cars in the 2015 season of the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Series and that they will run the new Lamborghini Huracán LP 620-2 Super Trofeo, which debuts this season.

O'Gara Motorsport team owner Tom O'Gara enters his third season of involvement in the Series having already been a partner on the car that took the Team and Drivers' Championships, as well as a World Championship in the debut event of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Final in 2013 at Vallalunga, Italy with driver Andrew Palmer behind the wheel. The team also finished 2nd with driver Richard Antinucci in the 2014 World Championship held in Sapang. O'Gara's new team is excited about the opportunity to build on their owner's previous successes and anticipate being one of the top competitors in the Series this season.

In preparation for the season, O'Gara Motorsport will be participating in the Series' preseason demonstration drive Jan. 28 through Feb. 1 at the Thermal Club in Palm Springs, Calif. Additional demonstrations for the gentleman driver series will be held Feb. 10-11 at the Thermal Club.

Tom O'Gara, team owner and 2013 North America Amateur Champion, said of his team's participation in the demonstration drive, "I'm extremely excited that the team will be taking part in the Super Trofeo Series. We're thrilled to be getting the new cars this week and eager to put them through their paces at the driver demonstration events at Thermal. This is the perfect opportunity for us to see what our prospective drivers can do with the new equipment. I'd also like to congratulate Andrew (Palmer) on his PC class win at the Rolex 24 in Daytona."

To better serve their customers, the team will also be expanding its motorsport operations to include a presence at the Thermal Club in Palm Springs, in addition to its current Beverly Hills location.
