WRC: Hyundai drops driver rotation

Hyundai will stick with Thierry Neuville, Dani Sordo and Hayden Paddon for most of its 2015 World Rally Championship, rather than rotating drivers as it did last year.

Rally Germany winner Neuville was Hyundai's only full-time driver in 2014, with Sordo, Paddon, Bryan Bouffier, Juho Hanninen and Chris Atkinson all making appearances in its other entries.

After fielding Neuville and Sordo for next week's WRC season opener in Monte Carlo, Hyundai will add Padden for the following round in Sweden. Team boss Michel Nandan said that three-car lineup will then be standard for the rest of the 2015 campaign.

"As we saw last year, having three cars on WRC events is very positive and helps us to develop our Hyundai i20 WRC more rapidly," he said.
