RECOURSE: New series from MAVTV takes you inside Pro-2 Trucks

RECOURSE - A new 30-minute, 12-episode reality series, debuts on MAVTV this Sunday, Jan. 4 at 3:00pm & 6:00pm ET. RECOURSE features behind-the-scenes action starring some of the roughest and toughest off-road racers on the planet.

Epic battles are fought by combatants wielding 4000 lb. trucks in the elite Pro-2 class headlining the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series national championship and RECOURSE takes you inside the chain link barriers and the racers heads as they struggle for supremacy. In each episode the viewer will learn about the rivalries and mayhem which fuels each event of the 15-round title chase.

Short Course racing is not for the faint hearted and the 2014 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series offers a fitting backdrop to the energy, rage, athletic ability and extraordinary driving skills that each Pro-2 racer has to bring to the fray if he is to battle his way to a place on the podium.

The stars of RECOURSE include 3 time Pro-2 champion and former X Games star Brian Deegan - the first rider ever to do a 360 in competition and the most decorated Freestyle Motocross rider in X Games history; 2013 Pro-2 champion Rob MacCachren - a legendary off road racer with over 200 desert and short course victories to his credit; seven-time AMA Supercross Champion, Jeremy McGrath; Carl Renezeder, the 2009 Pro-2 champion with over 100 short course wins and nine short course off-road series championships and the only driver to win both Pro-2 and Pro-4 championship titles; plus Marty Hart, who scored four victories and 9 podiums in his first season and who once upon a time, set 3 wheel ATV speed records in the Sonoran desert while competing for Team Honda in the Baja 1000 (Hart was timed at speeds in excess of 100mph pounding across rough patches of desert on a pitch black night at 1:00 a.m.), plus Robby Woods, Casey Currie, Ryan Beat, RJ Anderson, Kyle Hart (Marty Hart's son), Bryce Menzies, Sheldon Creed and more.
