IMSA: Krohn moves P2 testing program Stateside
Tracy Krohn's unmistakably green Ligier JS P2-Judd has made the trip from Europe to America where the Krohn Racing has continued its testing program at Circuit of The Americas in Austin.
According to the team, the visit to COTA continued their efforts to gather data, conduct tire testing and gain more experience with the P2 coupe "in preparation for the 2015 running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona, January 24-25. The team plans to participate in the Roar Before the 24, Jan. 9-11, as well."
The team previously announced its intention to race at Daytona, Sebring and, provided an invitation is extended, at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. The veteran outfit expects to name its full driver lineup next week, and there's a small chance it could include one surprise from the world of open-wheel racing.
