Kurt Busch to take on Block, Rossi and Kubica at Monza Rally Show
NASCAR star Kurt Busch has joined ex-Formula 1 racer Robert Kubica, Ken Block and MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi on the entry for this weekend's Monza Rally Show, an exhibition at the Italian Grand Prix F1 venue that traditionally attracts a wide range of star guests.
2004 Cup champion Busch will make his event debut, made possible by the fact that like Block and Rossi, he has personal backing from Monza show sponsor Monster.
Busch, who is also contesting the Race of Champions in Barbados in December will drive an M-Sport-prepared Ford Fiesta World Rally car at Monza, with World Rally Championship regular Rhianon Gelsomino as his co-driver. Block, Kubica and Rossi are also using Fiestas.
Audi Le Mans driver Marco Bonanomi and former World Touring Car Championship driver Stefano D'Aste are among the other circuit racing names taking part in the Nov. 28-30 event.
