NHRA: Ex-Force crew chief Prock joins DSR
A day after Jimmy Prock's resignation as John Force's crew chief, we learned why: In a brief statement, Don Schumacher Racing confirmed that it hired the veteran crew chief "for a position yet to be determined."
DSR, which fields seven teams in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, currently leads the standings in Top Fuel with Tony Schumacher and in Funny Car with Matt Hagan. Through 22 of 24 events this season, DSR has won 13 titles in Top Fuel and six in Funny Car.
Owner/driver Force revealed yesterday
that he had learned Prock was pursuing other opportunities for 2015, and opted to part ways with his crew chief immediately.Latest News
