Ghirelli to replace Cerruti at Estoril Auto GP

Super Nova's 2013 Auto GP champion Vittorio Ghirelli will return to the team for this season's final round at Estoril this weekend.

Ghirelli will replace Super Nova's injured regular driver Michela Cerruti in Portugal to bolster the outfit's bid for the teams' title. The Italian has suffered a disrupted season after his championship success, aborting a campaign in this year's Indy Lights championship, where he hopes to return in 2015.

Ghirelli made his first Auto GP comeback with Super Nova at the Hungaroring earlier this year, where he achieved a podium.
