Pizzonia returning to Auto GP

Ex-Formula 1 driver Antonio Pizzonia will return to Auto GP for the last round of the season at Estoril this weekend.

Zele Racing will field Pizzonia alongside Angolan Auto GP debutant Luis Sa Silva in a completely revised line-up. The Austrian team and Pizzonia previously worked together at the 2012 Auto GP finale at Sonoma in the United States.

Pizzonia had arrived at Zele fresh from an impressive initial  outing in the series, scoring a victory at his home round at Curitiba for Ombra Racing.

The forthcoming meeting at Estoril marks Pizzonia's return to open-wheel cars. The Brazilian was an LMP2 class winner in the World Endurance Championship for Delta-ADR last season, and has focused on the Stock Car Brazil series this year.
