IMSA: TUDOR Championship points battles head for Petit Le Mans climax

Titles will be crowned for drivers, teams and manufacturers following Saturday's Petit Le Mans powered by Mazda, the final race of the inaugural TUDOR United SportsCar Championship. Here's a brief class-by-class look at how the points races in each class shape up entering the finale:
PROTOTYPE (P):
• The No. 5 Action Express Racing Corvette DP clinches the team title by taking the green flag at the start of the race.
• Christian Fittipaldi and Joao Barbosa, drivers of the No. 5 Action Express Corvette DP, each take a share of the driver championship by driving the minimum 45 minutes needed to score points in the class.
• Ricky/Jordan Taylor of the No. 10 Konica Minolta Corvette DP (22 points behind), Michael Valianta/Richard Westbrook of the No. 90 VisitFlorida.com Corvette DP (23 points behind), and Scott Pruett of the No. 01 Telcel Ford EcoBoost Riley, and Gustavo Yacaman of the No. 42 OAK Racing Ligier JS P2/Honda (each 30 points back) are the only other drivers in contention.
• Chevrolet clinches the manufacturer title if one of the Corvette DPs starts the race.
GT LE MANS (GTLM):
• Jonathan Bomarito and Kuno Wittmer of the No. 93 SRT Motorsports Dodge Viper SRT GTS-R clinch the drivers' and team titles with a third-place finish.
• Antonio Garcia of the No. 3 Corvette Racing Corvette C7.R would clinch the title with a victory and finish of fourth or worse by the No. 93 Viper.
• Jan Magnussen, Garcia's co-driver, and fourth driver combinations will be eliminated if the No. 93 Viper starts the race.
• The GTLM manufacturers' championship is tied between Dodge and Porsche (308 points each), followed by Chevrolet and BMW (300 points each), with Ferrari fifth with 294 points.
PROTOTYPE CHALLENGE (PC):
• Colin Braun and Jon Bennett clinched the drivers' title at Circuit of The Americas.
• Braun and Bennett clinch the PC team title by finishing sixth in the No. 54 CORE autosport ORECA FLM09.
• 8Star Motorsports, entering the race 11 points behind CORE (288-277) is the only other team still eligible for the championship.
• Dane Cameron enters the race with 275 points, and clinches driver and team titles for the No. 94 Turner Motorsport BMW Z4 with a second-place finish.
• Leh Keen and Cooper MacNeil, drivers of the No. 23 Alex Job Racing WeatherTech Porsche 911 GT America, are four points back with 271 points.
• Townsend Bell and Bill Sweedler of the No. 555 AIM Autosport Ferrari F458 Italia are seven points back with 268 points.
• Also eligible are Christopher Haase and Bryce Miller of the No. 48 Paul Miller Racing Castrol Audi R8 LMS, with 259 points, and John Potter of the No. 44 Magnus Racing Flex-Box Porsche 911 GT America, 258 points. Markus Palttala, Cameron's co-driver, also has 258 points.
• Mathematically eligible but eliminated if Cameron drives the minimum two hours, 15 minutes are Jan Heylen/Madison Snow of the No. 58 Dempsey Racing Discount Tire Porsche 911 GT America (247 points); Jeff Westphal of the No. 63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari F458 Italia, 246 points; and Andy Lally of the No. 44 Magnus Racing Flex-Box Porsche 911 GT America, 241 points.
• The GTD manufacturer's championship will come down to the checkered flag. Porsche currently has 311 points, one more than BMW (310 points) and two more than Ferrari (309 points). Audi (294 points) and Dodge (260 points) will be eliminated if one of the top three cars start the race.
