WEC: Toyota working on 2015 P1 chassis

According to Toyota Racing technical director Pascal Vasselon, the Japanese marque has chosen its engine package for next year’s LMP1-H chassis, and is deciding which level of Hybrid power to pursue for its World Endurance Championship program.

In this video for the RACER Channel, the Frenchman also speaks on the current TS040’s development since Le Mans in June, shares his thoughts on cost reductions in the WEC, and whether Toyota Motor Group would be interested in supplying engines when the common P2 prototype chassis is introduced in 2017.
