Lime Rock's 32nd Historic Festival starts this weekend

Lime Rock Park's Historic Festival 32 begins this Thursday with the 142-car, 17-mile Vintage Race Car Parade presented by Abarth, U.S.A. (to be streamed live on Lime Rock's YouTube channel), followed by practice and qualifying on Friday for all nine race groups. Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. will see a total of 18 races. The next day is the Sunday in the Park Concours d' Elegance presented by Bentley (224 entrants, shown on Sam Posey Straight), plus the 800+ collector cars covering the rest of the 1.5-mile track that comprise the Gathering of the Marques. The weekend wraps up with another 18 races on Labor Day Monday.

There are numerous autograph sessions throughout the weekend with Sir Stirling Moss, this year's Honored Guest. Five cars from Honored Collector Ralph Lauren are also on hand Friday through Monday (including private audio tours). Book signings, a Swap Meet, Bentley, Abarth and SRT ride-and-drives, Midway vendors, special displays and marque gatherings, demonstration laps and a host of other attractions also make up the weekend.
