As part of its exciting new BEHIND THE ZOOM campaign,
Mazdamotorsports.com
offers a turn-by-turn breakdown of the famed Georgia track with data, track maps, a setup guide and videos.BEHIND THE ZOOM will bring Mazda’s champions and professionals onto your screen to break down the tracks on which you race to help you be better. First up: Road Atlanta...
For the first time, the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is dividing its national championship into two events, East and West. The West event will take place at Sonoma Raceway on Nov. 7-9. Well before that, however, racers from the eastern half of the U.S. will gather at the 2.54-mile Road Atlanta circuit in Braselton, Ga., on Labor Day weekend to decide the championships for that half of the country.
To help our Mazda drivers succeed at this track, the BEHIND THE ZOOM team has provided a filled-out track map with key takeaways and a more detailed turn-by-turn description. According to Mazda factory driver and professional driving coach Tom Long: "Track maps are great to review prior to your trip to Atlanta and to re-create after each session you are on track."
In the virst video in the series (ABOVE), Tom Long takes you through on quick lap in a Spec Miata; he even shows you a great place to pass. Check out more of the series at the link below!
