PWC: Dalziel joins EFFORT Racing for Mid-Ohio
Houston-based EFFORT Racing has added sports car veteran Ryan Dalziel to its GT-class Porsche for the next round of the Pirelli World Challenge at Mid-Ohio. The Scot will aim to help EFFORT regular Michael Mills regain the class point lead, following a win and a second-place finish at the Toronto double-header.
"I am really excited about this opportunity with EFFORT Racing," said Dalziel. "I have been watching them this year and it was great to see them get their maiden PWC victory in Toronto at the last race. I am a big fan of PWC and Mid-Ohio, so I'm really looking forward to the race. I want to do my best to continue their winning ways and help them in any way I can. I already know a couple of people on the team and have worked with Stefan Pfeiffer (engineer) for a number of seasons in Prototypes, so I know we will get together quickly with the Porsche.
"I'm fortunate that EFFORT has brought Ryan on. It's just another great opportunity for me to learn from one of the fastest drivers out there," said Mills. "I've been fortunate to learn for Jorg Bergmeister, Tim Bergmeister, Nick Tandy, and now Ryan Dalziel.
