Formula Renault 3.5 racer Pietro Fantin will switch from Arden Caterham to International Draco Racing for his second season in the category.
The Brazilian, who finished 21st in the points as teammate to Antonio Felix da Costa in 2013, has signed for Draco after testing for the squad post-season.
“Fantin is a talented guy who showed a lot of promise in the testing he did with us,” said team principal Guto Negrao.
“He has a professional attitude that we don’t see often in young drivers, and in each technical briefing he listened carefully to each and every discussion.
“We started on the right foot, now we hope that we’ll be able to carry that momentum in the 2014 season.”
Negrao added that Draco is not far away from completing its 2014 line-up.
“Concerning the driver for the other car we are currently evaluating a few options,” he said. “Expect his name to be announced soon.”
Draco finished third in the FR3.5 teams’ championship this year with Nico Muller and Andre Negrao.
