Grenier joins KV for Sebring test

Occasional Indy Lights entrant Mikael Grenier is scheduled to drive an IndyCar for the first time tomorrow when he joins KV Racing for a two-day test at Sebring.

The 21-year-old Canadian will spend the test running alongside Sebastien Bourdais, who will be working with the team for the first time since moving across from Dragon Racing after last month's season finale at Fontana.

A budget shortfall restricted Grenier to just one Lights appearance in 2013, when he joined Team Moore Racing at Long Beach. That outing ended with a crash, while his five appearances with O2 Racing Technology two years earlier yielded a best result of fifth at Barber. Prior to his move to Lights, he achieved a win during his first full season of Star Mazda in 2010.
