Keselowski extends Penske deal

Reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Brad Keselowski has extended his Penske deal through to the end of 2017.

The 29-year-old joined Penske at the start of 2010 for his first full season in the Cup series, and won last year’s title in a final-round showdown with five-time champion Jimmie Johnson.

Keselowski’s primary sponsor Miller Lite has also completed a new contract with Penske.

“This will allow us to further grow our program and contend for championships on a consistent basis,” said Keselowski. “It’s an exciting time to be a part of this organization and I look forward to a successful future.”

Keselowski has been unable to successfully defend his title this year and did not make the cut for the Chase. He is still hunting for his first win of the 2013 season.
