Corvette Racing keeps current drivers’ line-up intact for 2027

Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports has retained its full-time drivers for the 2027 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Once again fielding a two-car, factory-supported program in the GTD Pro class, Antonio García and Alexander Sims will continue to drive the No. 3 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R, and coming off a challenge for the GTD Pro championship, Tommy Milner and Nicky Catsburg will once again drive the No. 4 Corvette together for the full season.

2027 will mark five-time IMSA champion García’s 19th season as a Corvette Racing works driver, while two-time IMSA champion Milner begins his 17th season with the factory team.

This will be the fourth year for these full-time driver pairings, and the fourth year of competition for the Corvette Z06 GT3.R which has claimed back-to-back GTD Pro manufacturers’ championships, along with the 2025 GTD Pro drivers’ and teams’ championships for García and Sims in the No. 3 Corvette.

Catsburg and Milner finished third in this year’s GTD Pro standings, entering the final race at Motul Petit Le Mans with a narrow lead before Catsburg and the No. 4 Corvette fell victim to a late-race incident. Sims and García were unable to defend their 2025 championships but they did give the No. 3 car a win at the Detroit Grand Prix.

Chevrolet is set to introduce the first evo kit for the Corvette Z06 GT3.R at the 2027 Rolex 24 At Daytona. The update package will be centered around an electronics system update, along with general reliability and serviceability improvements.
