Conquest to honor Sbirrazzuoli with special Petit Le Mans livery

Conquest Racing will honor the memory of its longtime former driver Cédric Sbirrazzuoli by bringing back a familiar livery for next weekend’s running of the Motul Petit Le Mans in Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta.

In tribute to the Monegasque sports car racing veteran, who died on August 20th after a lengthy bout with cancer, Conquest Racing will run its white, red, and black-accented 2024 livery on the No. 34 Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo at Road Atlanta. In these colors, Sbirrazzuoli, Manny Franco, and Albert Costa took the GTD class victory at Petit Le Mans to close out the 2024 season (main image).

“It was important for both Manny Franco, myself, and the entire team to pay homage to Cédric and all he did for the sport,” said Conquest Racing owner Eric Bachelart.

“Winning Petit Le Mans in 2024 was both a great memory for the team, but especially side-by-side with Cédric, who was always such a positive influence both on and off the track. Seeing that same livery will bring back many good memories, which will of course include his name alongside our drivers.” 

Conquest Racing enters this final race of the 2026 season lying sixth in the GTD Teams' championship, while lead driver Costa is currently fifth in the Drivers' championship, best of all Ferrari drivers and teams. Their best finish so far this season was a third-place finish at Long Beach.

In addition, Conquest Racing will also welcome IMSA regular Alec Udell to the team for the first time. 

A past champion in Pirelli World Challenge and GT4 European Series competition, Udell has three career IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship podiums, helped TF Sport take the LMGT3 class win at this year's European Le Mans Series 4 Hours of Imola, and gave the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R its first worldwide competition victory during the 2024 GT World Challenge America season.

Udell recently drove AF Corse USA's Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo at the Sahlen's Six Hours of the Glen in June. He replaces Fran Rueda, who will shift over to Inception Racing's No. 70 Ferrari to fill in for Ollie Millroy.

Albert and Lorenzo are strong drivers with great pace, my goal is to settle in and be as plug-and-play as possible to the group. Petit Le Mans is a special event in the season packing tons of excitement - I’m certain we can all capitalize on that.”
