Mid-Ohio delivers another IndyCar ratings lift on FOX

The Honda Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio produced another sizable year-to-year audience increase for FOX and the IndyCar Series as an average of 1,344,000 viewers watched Arrow McLaren’s Pato O’Ward drive to victory in the No. 5 Chevy.

The race ran prior to FOX’s World Cup coverage and featured a steep 73 percent rise in viewership over the 775,00 who tuned in for last year’s Mid-Ohio race. The tail end of the race drew the most interest with a peak of 1,541,000 viewers.

IndyCar’s debut on FOX in 2025 delivered five out of 17 races with more than 1 million viewers, and so far in 2026, seven out of 11 races have surpassed the 1 million mark. In another year-to-year metric, the rise in viewership to date this season is up 18 percent over last year.
