From last to first: Jonny Edgar on TF Sport’s epic 24 Hours of Le Mans win
With the dust still settling on the 94th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Jonny Edgar joined RACER Weekly to look back on an epic LMGT3 class win for TF Sport’s No. 33 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.R. Along with teammates Ben Keating and Nicky Catsburg, Edgar put in a flawless performance to take the ’Vette from a 17th-in-class starting spot to a lead they’d never lose.
From Keating’s “ironman” opening stint to Edgar sealing the win with a four-hour charge to the checkered flag, it was a masterclass in perfect planning, pace and performance. Jonny gives us the inside story on the victory that puts TF Sport on top of the WEC standing, recalls his racing journey so far and – no time to rest – sets the scene on his next IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship start at the Six Hours of the Glen with LMP2 powerhouse AO Racing.
