HSR reveals entries for NASCAR Le Mans Classic Legend event

The entry list for the HSR NASCAR Classic presented by Goodyear feature race at the Le Mans Classic Legend weekend, July 3-5, was unveiled today along with the official poster (at bottom of this page) for the event that depicts each of the 36 historic stock cars entered to compete on the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe next month.

The first overseas race in HSR’s nearly 50-year history is also a tribute to NASCAR's first appearance in the 24 Hours of Le Mans 50 years ago.

Before its appearance at Le Mans in 1976, this Ford Gran Torino was built and campaigned as a full-spec NASCAR Grand National (forerunner of today's Cup Series) race car.

The unprecedented collection of historic stock cars from the last seven decades entered will be driven by an equally eclectic group of American and European drivers, from accomplished HSR and international historic racing champions to motorsports and automotive industry leaders who are also avid racers and even a former Daytona 500 winner and NASCAR Cup Series champion.
