Nashville adds World Cup watch party to IndyCar weekend

July’s Borchetta Bourbon Music City Grand Prix at Nashville Superspeedway will feature a crossover viewing opportunity for fans of the IndyCar Series and those who want to watch the World Cup final.

With the creation of “The Pub” inside the speedway property, IndyCar fans will have “an immersive soccer-inspired fan zone designed specifically around the World Cup Final experience,” according to the event promoter, where the soccer match is set to air on FOX immediately before the July 19 IndyCar race takes place.

“Where else can fans watch soccer on the global stage, enjoy live music and then see the stars of the IndyCar Series battle it out on one of the fastest tracks in the sport?” Scott Borchetta said. “It’s a uniquely Nashville experience, and we’re proud to have the Borchetta Bourbon name on it."

Borchetta says visitors to The Pub will find “large screens showing the Fox Sports World Cup Final Watch Party, Saturday’s third-place match as well as the pre-game shows and ceremonies, walk-up bars with food and beverage available for purchase, lounge spaces and social gathering areas, foosball tables and gaming stations, interactive soccer activations and open-play opportunities, and “soccer creators and influencers showcasing tricks, challenges and fan engagement activities.”
