TF Sport shuffles Corvette line-up after injury sidelines Keating

Corvette Racing partner team TF Sport has been forced into making a late change to its LMGT3 driver line-up for the opening rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship, while Ben Keating recovers from an incident in training that left him with a broken elbow.

The Bronze-rated Texan has been ruled out of the season opener at Imola later this month as well as the 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps in May. He is targeting a return to the cockpit at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June.

In his absence, another American Bronze-rated driver, Blake McDonald, will take his place alongside Jonny Edgar and Nicky Catsburg. The 35-year-old finished second in GT World Challenge America’s Pro/Am class last year and was part of TF Sport’s Asian Le Mans Series campaign over the winter. He’s also set to take on the European Le Mans Series with the team as part of its title defense in LMGT3, which gets underway in Barcelona next weekend.

“As TF Sport prepares to kick off the 2026 FIA WEC season with the official Prologue – scheduled to take place at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari in Imola on April 14 – the whole team wishes Ben a speedy and full recovery and looks forward to seeing him back on track,” a team statement announcing the change read.
