Milesi replaces Beche at TDS for Sebring
TDS Racing has announced a driver change for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. Charles Milesi will step back into the No. 11 ORECA 07-Gibson LMP2, sharing the car with Tobias Lütke and David Heinemeier Hansson.
Milesi replaces Mathias Beche, who has been forced to withdraw from the event due to chronic conditions caused by COVID-19, better known as "long COVID." Beche last raced in the 2025–26 Asian Le Mans Series 4 Hours of Abu Dhabi in February.
“The past period hasn’t been easy,” Beche wrote on his social media accounts earlier today. “I’ve been dealing with long COVID and some health issues that forced me to step back and take a difficult decision. But I knew I had to give myself the time to fully recover if I wanted to come back at my best. Grateful to be back training again, with a lot of motivation and perspective."
Milesi, a member of the Alpine Endurance Team in the FIA World Endurance Championship, rode alongside Lütke, Heinemeier Hansson, and Beche at the Rolex 24 At Daytona. TDS Racing completed 608 laps before retiring with a mechanical failure.
The Frenchman was due to start his WEC campaign next week, but due to the Iran war, the WEC Prologue pre-season test has been moved from March 22-23 in Qatar to April 14 in Imola, while the season itself begins on April 19 with the 6 Hours of Imola.
