Driver’s Eye views set for all IndyCar races in ’26
FOX Sports debuted its Driver’s Eye in-car helmet camera system and used the unique view at select races during its first season of IndyCar Series coverage, and in an expansion of the program for 2026, Driver’s Eye camera feeds will become a standard feature throughout the 18-race calendar.
The increase to every race will be complemented with an expansion in drivers where six IndyCar starts will have their helmets fitted with the micro HD cameras at each event.
IndyCar on FOX is also continuing its use of drone footage during the broadcasts and the in-car graphical overlays inside the aeroscreen to display performance data and other pieces of information related to the car’s feed.
FOX also announced its broadcast line-up, which brings continuity from 2025.
“Play-by-play announcer Will Buxton and analysts James Hinchcliffe and Townsend Bell return to call the action for FOX IndyCar, with Jack Harvey, Georgia Henneberry and Kevin Lee reporting from pit road,” a statement from the network read. “Acclaimed motorsports broadcaster Jamie Little joins the team for the IndyCar/NASCAR ‘Desert Double’ in Phoenix and the 110th Running of the Indianapolis 500 on Sunday, May 24.”
