Delaware Life back with Ericsson for 2026

Andretti Global has unveiled Marcus Ericsson’s No. 28 Honda for the upcoming 18-race IndyCar Series season with the return of Delaware Life and its colors.

The insurance company, which is within the array of businesses that fall under the umbrella of the team’s ownership group, will serve as the car’s primary sponsor.

“Delaware Life is excited to ride along with Marcus Ericsson and the No. 28 team at Andretti this IndyCar season,” said Delaware’s Colin Lake. “It’s an honor to bring our clients to the track and provide them with a memorable race-day event; having Delaware Life as the primary sponsor elevates the experience even further. We wish Marcus and his team the best of luck this season, and we look forward to cheering on the No. 28 car with our clients at the track soon.”

The company first appeared on the 2022 Indianapolis 500 winner’s car in 2024.

“I’m really excited to have Delaware Life back,” Ericsson said. “They’ve partnered with me for many races over the last two years and have always been a great company to represent. I’m looking forward to getting to St. Pete and kicking off the season.”
