Saturday Clash qualifying heats at Bowman Gray postponed due to weather
The Cook Out Clash events on Saturday, Jan. 31, including NASCAR Cup Series practice, qualifying, and heat races at Bowman Gray Stadium, have been postponed out of an abundance of caution due to expected winter weather in the Winston-Salem, N.C. area. The Clash Preview at the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Event Center is still scheduled on Friday, Jan. 30 from 10am to 2pm. The brand-new event will serve as the official start to the action at Bowman Gray Stadium, intended to offer fans unprecedented access to NASCAR Cup Series cars and drivers, live entertainment and more before the race weekend gets underway.
The Clash Fan Fest across the street from Bowman Gray Stadium will no longer be open this weekend.
The Cook Out Clash is still scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 1. Practice and qualifying is scheduled from 2 to 4pm ET and will be broadcast live on FS2. The Last Chance Qualifier is scheduled for 6pm ET live on FOX. NASCAR Race Day on FOX will begin at 7:30pm ET on FOX, followed by the Cook Out Clash at 8pm ET, also live on FOX.
