Rolex 24, Hour 15: Thick fog keeps the race under safety car
A dense fog advisory remains in effect at Daytona International Speedway until 9:00am. The 64th Rolex 24 At Daytona remains under a full course yellow due to low visibility since 12:45am.
The No. 6 Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 (currently driven by Kévin Estre) leads GTP with nine hours to go, followed by the No. 24 Team WRT BMW M Hybrid V8 (René Rast) and the No. 31 Cadillac Whelen V-Series.R (Connor Zilisch).
In LMP2, the No. 52 Bryan Herta Autosport with PR1/Mathiasen ORECA 07-Gibson (Misha Goikhberg) leads, followed by the No. 43 Inter Europol Competition (Bijoy Garg) and No. 8 Tower Motorsport (Kyffin Simpson) ORECAs.
In GTD Pro, the No. 65 Ford Racing Mustang GT3 (Christopher Mies) is in front, followed by the No. 77 AO Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R (Alessio Picariello) and the No. 14 Vasser Sullivan Racing Lexus RC F GT3 (Kyle Kirkwood).
And finally in GTD, the No. 21 AF Corse Ferrari 296 GT3 Evo driven by Tomasso Mosca (pictured, top) leads, the No. 44 Magnus Racing Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo (Nicki Thiim) is second, and the No. 80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO (Ralf Aron) is third.
Positions are subject to change as cars and teams make pit stops under this Full Course Yellow.
