Van der Steur Racing confirms drivers for its GT3 Aston Martin

Van der Steur Racing has confirmed its Michelin Endurance Cup line-up for the upcoming IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Rory van der Steur and Aston Martin factory driver Valentin Hasse Clot will return to drive the No. 19 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo in the five-race Endurance Cup. Confirmation of their return came last week when IMSA published its provisional entry list for the 64th annual Rolex 24 At Daytona.

2025 was VDSR’s first season of IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship racing, following years of competition in the Michelin Pilot Challenge. Van der Steur and Hasse-Clot drove alongside Anthony McIntosh in last year’s Endurance Cup, recording a best finish of sixth at the season-opening Rolex 24.

Replacing McIntosh as the team’s third endurance driver is 25-year-old Sébastien Baud, who’s spent the last two seasons racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship LMGT3 class with TF Sport and United Autosports. The Frenchman recorded a best finish of second in his first race for United at the season-opening Qatar 1812Km; he is set to make his IMSA debut this coming season.
