Jaminet replaces Christensen at Porsche Penske for Fuji

The most up-to-date version of the 2025 FIA WEC 6 hours of Fuji entry list features one key change in the Hypercar category.

At Porsche Penske Motorsport, the No. 5 963 will be shared by full-season driver Julien Andlauer and Mathieu Jaminet (above), who will make his fifth start of the year in the car.

Jaminet steps into the seat usually filled by Danish racer Michael Christensen, who, according to Porsche, has a clashing commitment that is preventing him from travelling to this weekend's race.

The German marque has told RACER that the 35-year-old is currently at Road Atlanta with customer outfit AO Racing as it prepares its GTD Pro class 911 GT3 R 992 for Petit Le Mans next month.

This weekend’s WEC race, the 100th for the championship, will be the first that Christensen has missed since the 2021 season. There is no official word yet on whether he will rejoin the Porsche Penske Motorsport team for the season finale at the Bahrain International Circuit in November.
