Dixon tops final practice at the Milwaukee Mile
Scott Dixon led the final practice session for Sunday’s Snap-on 250 at the Milwaukee Mile, posting a top lap of 158.712mph in the No. 9 Honda.
AJ Foyt Racing’s David Malukas was second in the No. 4 Chevy (154.871mph) ahead of Arrow McLaren’s Nolan Siegel in the No. 6 Chevy (154.514mph), Team Penske’s Josef Newgarden in the No. 2 Chevy (154.486mph), Marcus Armstrong in the No. 66 Meyer Shank Racing Honda (154.413mph) and polesitter Alex Palou in the No. 10 Honda Chip Ganassi Racing Honda (154.221mph).
The session, which was preceded by second-lane running, wasn’t entirely clean as pit road contact between Santino Ferrucci and Devlin DeFrancesco left both teams with suspension repairs to perform, and Sting Ray Robb, with two minutes remaining, found the wall and left his Juncos Hollinger Racing team with more significant damage to rectify.
