Zilisch suffers broken collarbone in Watkins Glen fall
Saturday's Xfinity Series Mission 200 at The Glen winner Connor Zilisch fell from his car during victory lane celebrations and was transported to a local hospital for evaluation. He was treated and released Saturday night.
Zilisch later posted on X that CT scans were clear, but his collarbone is broken.
The Watkins Glen victory was the sixth of the year for Zilisch, who had already been sidelined once in 2025 (at Texas Motor Speedway) after receiving a lower back injury at Talladega Superspeedway. There's been no word yet about missing any further Xfinity races for the 19-year-old, with the series scheduled for an off week before returning at Daytona International Speedway Friday, Aug. 22. Trackhouse Racing subsequently announced that it would withdraw Zilisch’s No. 87 Chevrolet entry from Sunday's Cup Series race at Watkins Glen.
There are three races remaining in the Xfinity Series regular season.
