Chip Hart Racing branding for Manthey Porsche at Le Mans
Manthey’s No. 90 Porsche 911 LMGT3.R 992 is set to compete in a livery based on the fictional "Chip Hart Racing" team at the Le Mans 24 Hours this year, as part of the promotional campaign for the forthcoming F1 movie.
The No. 90, which serves as the German team’s third car in the race alongside its full-season WEC entries, features a near-identical design to Wright Motorsports’ Porsches that appeared during a shoot at the Rolex 24 At Daytona in 2024 and participated in the race. In addition to the livery, Chip Hart Racing branding will also feature in the team’s garage at the Circuit de la Sarthe.
Chip Hart Racing is due to appear in "F1" movie, which is due to be released in theatres later this month, as part of the story arc for Brad Pitt's character Sonny Hayes.
In the meantime, at Le Mans, the No. 90 will be driven by Antares Au, Klaus Bachler and Loek Hartog, after Au and Bachler helped Manthey secure an invitation by clinching the Asian Le Mans Series GT title over the winter.
This is the second significant livery update from Manthey for Le Mans, after a special design for the Iron Dames 911 was revealed earlier this week.
