Reddick paces Cup Series practice at Nashville Superspeedway

Tyler Reddick was fastest in NASCAR Cup Series practice at Nashville Superspeedway with a lap of 161.337mph (29.677s).

Reddick ran his fastest lap on his fifth lap in practice. He was also the fastest in the best 10 consecutive lap average.

Denny Hamlin, co-owner of Reddick’s car, was the second fastest. Hamlin’s lap was 161.006mph.

Chase Elliott was the third fastest (160.822mph), William Byron fourth (160.817mph), Chase Briscoe fifth (160.784mph), Brad Keselowski sixth (160.709mph) and Ross Chastain, a former Nashville winner, seventh (160.450mph).

Carson Hocevar ran eighth fastest at 160.338mph. Bubba Wallace was ninth (160.236mph). Michael McDowell completed the top 10 (160.193mph).

AJ Allmendinger was 11th fastest. He was allowed to run after his team was forced to go back to the garage and fix the unapproved adjustments they made on pit road.

Corey Heim was 27th fastest in practice. Heim is making his second start of the season with 23XI Racing.

Joey Logano is the defending race winner at Nashville. He was 32nd fastest.

There are 39 teams entered in the Cracker Barrel 400.
