Daytona LMP2 winner Lindh replaces Altoe at DragonSpeed
Rolex 24 At Daytona LMP2 class winner Rasmus Lindh has been named as a last-minute replacement at DragonSpeed for this weekend's Chevrolet Sports Car Classic in Detroit.
Lindh, who shared top honors for United Autosports USA at Daytona, replaces Giacomo Altoe, who will not participate for personal reasons. The Swedish driver will share the No. 81 Ferrari 296 GT3 alongside Albert Costa.
Last season, Lindh drove for DragonSpeed across both the LMP2 and GTD classes, with a best finish of seventh at the Twelve Hours of Sebring in their ORECA LMP2. He also has previous experience around the Detroit Renaissance Center street circuit during the 2023 Indy NXT season.
DragonSpeed and lead driver Costa are currently third in the GTD PRO teams' and drivers' championships respectively, trailing AO Racing and drivers Laurin Heinrich & Klaus Bachler by 75 points.
DragonSpeed's striking pink and yellow livery with sponsorship from streetwear label Anti Social Social Club, which debuted at Laguna Seca, is also returning for Detroit.
